Sacramento, June 3, 2026 – The California Assisted Living Association (CALA) recognized

Lilian Manning, resident medication assistant at Eskaton Village Roseville, with the Outstanding

Caregiver Award during an Awards Celebration Luncheon held today at Elevate: CALA’s Spring

Conference & Trade Show in Sacramento.

CALA presents its annual Excellence in Service Awards to honor individuals in CALA-member

communities who step beyond their job descriptions to uplift residents, support teammates and

lead with strength – challenging all of us to be our best.

Manning exemplifies the compassion, consistency and leadership that define quality Assisted

Living. Over her 27 years with Eskaton, she has become a trusted and stabilizing presence for

residents, families and staff. Families frequently turn to Manning directly for guidance because

of the confidence they have in her knowledge and care.

Manning is equally known for the patience and dignity she brings to daily resident interactions.

Families have praised the gentle, unhurried way she assists residents, noting her willingness to

speak calmly and ensure residents feel respected during medication administration and care.

“Lilian’s dedication, leadership and compassion have made a lasting impact on residents,

families and her fellow team members,” said CALA President & CEO Heather Harrison. “She

leads by example every day, creating trust and stability while ensuring residents receive

thoughtful, person-centered care.”
