About Us

At Eskaton, we are a reflection of our name,
meaning the "dawn of a new day."

Since opening in 2007, Eskaton Village Placerville has cultivated a beautiful community for older adults seeking independent living, assisted living, memory care or short-term stays. Set on 64 acres with historic Placerville close by, our thoughtfully designed cottages and Lodge residences complement the natural beauty of the Sierra foothills. We’re proud to have been recognized as El Dorado County’s Best Assisted Living Community for over 13 years by Mountain Democrat.
